Carolans Irish Cream was developed in 1978 and launched in the United Kingdom in July 1979. Since then the brand has grown exponentially and has established itself as the No. 2 Irish Cream Liqueur in the world, distributed in more than 40 countries.

Its flavor is appreciated by many, having won a double Gold Medal at the World Spirit Competition in San Francisco in 2009. The name Carolans comes from Turlough O’Carolan, a legendary traveling harpist musician from the 19th century XVII.
