Description

Citadelle Réserve celebrates the rebirth of golden gins, as the first gin to revive the old tradition of ageing gin in barrels. After ageing for five months in different barrels, the gin is blended together and refined in an eggshaped oak barrel. The egg shape of the wooden vat creates a natural convection that facilitates an harmonious and delicate integration.

Citadelle is the only French spirits distiller to date to use this avant-garde technique.

Aroma: Notas herbáceas de especiarias secas, mas também casca de coco, tabaco e flor de laranjeira. O segundo nariz traz à tona notas de bagas de zimbro e chá verde.
Palato: A primeira nota é sedosa, abundante, um pouco picante, com notas de tabaco seco. Notas adicionais de raspa de limão, gengibre e amêndoa. Um final duradouro.
