Description

Taiten Shiragiku Koshunbai is a delicate and easy-to-drink umeshu, crafted with Shiragiku sake. On the nose, it is lovely, with notes of almond, candied plum, and quince paste. It is subtle, with a slightly tangy edge that adds freshness and elegance.

On the palate, the attack is sweet, balanced by moderate acidity. The aromas detected on the nose carry through, reminiscent of orgeat, almond, and dried apricot. The palate is light and delicate, with a subtle hint of umami. Gradually, the apricot kernel emerges, along with a gentle jammy note. The tasting concludes with a smooth and lingering finish.
