Description

This Moscatel de Setúbal is produced from grapes from vineyards over 20 years old in Fernando Pó, Palmela on sandy soil in mediterranean climate.

Fermentation in stainless-steel vats with temperature controlled to a density of 1080, followed by the addition of 77% vol. spirit distilled from wine and maceration that lasts until March of the following year. Matured for 24 months in oak half barrels.

Nota de Prova

Vinho de cor dourada, rico e complexo, com aromas a lembrar mel e casca de laranja bem típicas da região. Na boca é cheio e doce revelando boa acidez que lhe confere frescura. Fim de boca persistente e muito prolongado.

Suggestions

Recommended storage time is 20 years. Excellent with patisserie and sweetmeats, and also as an aperitif.
