Description

Kopke Dry White is a fortified White Port, crafted through a careful winemaking process that includes light maceration to extract color and aromas from the grape skins, followed by pressing before fermentation. Fermentation takes place slowly in stainless steel vats with an open-top system at controlled low temperatures of 16–18ºC, ensuring a fresh and aromatic style. The process is interrupted by the addition of grape spirit, producing a fortified wine. Made from a blend of wines with varying ripeness and provenance, it is aged in stainless steel and wood for a minimum of 3 years, resulting in a rich and well-balanced wine.
