Description

Kopke Fine Tawny is a fortified Port wine, made from hand-harvested grapes at their optimal ripeness. After destemming and crushing, the grapes undergo careful maceration, complemented by remontage during fermentation in stainless steel vats at controlled temperatures of 28–30ºC, until the desired Baumé level is reached. The addition of grape spirit produces a fortified wine, obtained from a blend of wines with varying ripeness and provenance, aged in stainless steel and wood for a minimum of 3 years, resulting in a rich, aromatic wine with balanced sweetness.

Nota de Prova

Color: Vivid orangey-brown.

Aroma: Ripe, honeyed fruit combined with delicate vanilla notes.

Palate: Smooth and round, full of rich and enveloping flavours.

Suggestions

Pairs perfectly with desserts featuring caramel, coffee, apricots, and dried fruits, such as caramelized nuts, tiramisu, hazelnut meringue tart, or brie-style cheeses.
