Description

The jabuticaba is the first fruit of the MONIN Fruit range that does not grow on a stem, but rather directly from the trunk of the tree. Native to southeastern Brazil, more precisely Bahia, it measures 3 to 4cm in diameter and has a purplish color. Its white and gelatinous pulp is characterized by woody notes and a spicy and gourmet profile reminiscent of grapes. This similarity earned him the nickname: "Vineyard of Brazil".
