Description

The Pardusco Private is an elegant and distinctive red wine, created by Anselmo Mendes, renowned for his innovative approach in the Vinho Verde region. Produced from the Alvarelhão (Brancelho) grape variety, this wine perfectly reflects the tradition and authentic character of the Monção and Melgaço sub-region.

After fermentation in stainless steel, it aged for up to 24 months in used French oak barrels, giving it complexity, smoothness, and remarkable longevity.

Nota de Prova

Colour: Open ruby, typical of the grape variety.

Aroma: Intense in fresh red fruits (strawberry, cherry), with delicate notes of cedar, spices, leather, and tobacco.

Palate: Dry, with lively acidity, silky texture, and a striking minerality that ensures freshness and elegance on the palate.

Suggestions

Ideal with medium to high-intensity dishes, such as spiced roast lamb, roasted pork loin with vegetables, lamprey rice, and traditional game or cured meats.
