Description

Paço dos Cunhas Clos de Santar is a red wine from the Dão region, produced from a historic vineyard protected by the centuries-old walls of Paço dos Cunhas, in Santar. Located at around 400 metres above sea level and influenced by the Estrela, Buçaco, Caramulo and Montemuro mountain ranges, the vineyard benefits from conditions that contribute to an elegant, fresh and harmonious wine. Its production follows a philosophy of sustainability, respect for natural cycles and the appreciation of time, seeking to express the authenticity of the Santar terroir.

Deep and intense ruby in colour, it reveals a complex aromatic profile marked by ripe forest fruits, delicate rosemary notes and subtle nuances of high-quality oak resulting from extended ageing in barrels.
