Description

Dona Ermelinda Tinto is a red wine from the Palmela region, produced from grapes grown in vineyards located in Fernando Pó, a privileged area of the municipality, characterised by its sandy soils and Mediterranean-continental climate. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats, under controlled temperatures and with extended skin maceration, allowing for good extraction of colour, aromas and structure.

The wine is aged for 6 to 8 months in French oak barrels, a process that adds complexity and harmoniously integrates the oak notes into its profile. It reveals an appealing combination of ripe red fruit, rounded tannins and balanced structure, culminating in a long and pleasant finish.

Nose: Rich and complex, with notes of very ripe red fruit and well-integrated hints of oak.
