Description

As the name suggests, Vinhas Velhas (Old Vines) is a wine from the oldest vineyards of the brand. The red wine comes from vineyards with more than 35 years and white wine from vineyards with 15 and 20 years.

One of the most emblematic brands of João Portugal Ramos, Marquês de Borba combines the tradition of Alentejo region with an excellent quality, present since the first vibtage in 1997.

The brand´s name cames from the happy coincidence of João Portugal Ramos the vineyards and winery being located in Borba subregion, and also of one of his uncles having the noble title Marquês de Borba, a title created in 1811.

AROMA: Grande concentração de frutos pretos, folha de eucalipto e algumas notas de especiarias provenientes do estágio em barrica.

PALADAR: Grande volume na boca com taninos aveludados.
