This wine is obtained from grapes of the oldest vineyards in Quinta da Pacheca, installed in the mid 50’s. At that time, the vines were planted randomly in the plots and the grape varieties were equally naturally mixed. This tradition is still maintained in these ancient vines, as they result in wines of good complexity and aromatic structure.
Pacheca Reserva is made from Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Touriga Nacional, Tinto Cão, Sousão e Tinta Amarela red varieties foot-trodden in stone tanks and aged in new barrels of French oak. It´s full bodied red, with a deep ruby colour, loads of wild berries on the aroma, chewy and with good tanin structure. Enjoy with red meats, game and cured cheeses.
