Description

The Poeirinho Baga is a tribute to Bairrada’s winemaking tradition, crafted exclusively from the vineyards of Quinta de Baixo, under certified organic viticulture. Its name refers to the old designation of the Baga grape, honoring the classic wines of the region: light in color and alcohol, yet with extraordinary aging potential. Born from Dirk Niepoort’s passion for this variety and the unique Bairrada terroir, Poeirinho comes from small parcels of very old vines scattered around Cantanhede, revealing authenticity, freshness, and remarkable elegance.
