Quinta Vale D.Maria is a blend of 41 varieties that marks for its complexity, intense aromas, enormous freshness and great aging capacity in bottle. The diversity of varieties make this wine deep and intense, with aromas of cherry, plum and blackberry, typical of field blend in its genesis.
Of the 41 different varieties, we can find, among others, Rufete, Tinta Amarela, Tinta Francisca, Sousão, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz and many other typical from Douro, coming from the 10 hectares of original old vineyards of Quinta Vale D. Mary. The vineyards are over 60 years old, with exposure south, southeast, southwest, east and west.
