Description

Belonging to the oldest Champagne house in the world, Ruinart Rosé consists of a base of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. In the majority, only grapes classified as Premiers Crus are used, with 20% to 25% coming from reserves from the previous 2 years. Its composition is 45% Chardonnay grapes from the Côte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims vineyards, and 55% Pinot Noir grapes from Montagne de Reims and Vallée de la Marne vineyards, 18% to 19% of which are made in red.

At the level of winemaking: harvest done by hand. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks with regulated temperature. Complete malolactic fermentation. Only 9 grams of sugar per liter is the real Brut champagne.

Nota de Prova

Cor rosa delicado de romã com reflexos muito ligeiros alaranjados. Com uma efervescência intensa mas suave, apresenta um cordão persistente de bolhas finas. O nariz é subtil e fresco, oferecendo primeiro uma paleta original de frutas tropicais como goiaba e lichia e pequenas bagas. Na boca, o sabor imediato é distinto e completo com os aromas de bagas recém-colhidas são bem presentes.

Suggestions

Use a glass with a more open and rounded body, like Borgogna. Pour the champagne gently until half the glass is filled. Ruinart Rosé is a truly festive champagne, a delight to drink over a meal, from aperitif to dessert. Its aroma can be enhanced with thin slices of Italian ham (San Daniele, Parma, etc.). Salmon-based entrees or dishes (micuit, Japanese “tataki”) will also reveal their varied gatronómicos facets.
