Rum El Dorado is a unique rum, due to the fact that it is the only rum of the "Rum Demerara" style and has the oldest wooden stills in the world still in operation, some dating back to the 17th century. An exceptional premium amber rum, slightly full-bodied and aged in ex-bourbon barrels.
El Dorado 8 years is the result of the knowledge of the Master Blenders, composed of aged rums coming from at least four of the traditional wooden stills, preserved in the Demerara distillery, including the original Coffey wooden still from Enmore and the Port Mourant double wooden still. This rum is a complex fusion of heavily flavored and full-bodied rum with a smoother rum.
