Description

The Chiyomusubi Kanjuku Koshu is a sake aged for three years, produced by the Chiyomusubi brewery. This extended ageing process gives it a distinctive character and remarkable aromatic complexity, combining freshness with deep, rich and enveloping notes. Its profile reveals an interesting harmony of acidity, sweetness and intensity, with hints of honey, chocolate, dried fruits and spices. An expressive and sophisticated sake, ideal for those looking to explore more complex and evolved styles.

Nota de Prova

Aroma: Fresh and intense, with notes of candied lemon zest and a subtle rounded character.

Palate: Fresh, expressive and a velvety texture with notes of soy sauce, toasted puffed rice, honey and chocolate. Freshness is maintained throughout the tasting, accompanied by a slight sweetness and hints of dried fruit.

Finish: Long and intense yet balanced, with notes of dried fruit and nuances reminiscent of cognac, complemented by an almost menthol-like freshness.

Suggestions

Can be enjoyed at room temperature, around 18 °C, or gently warmed to approximately 30 °C, allowing different aromatic expressions to unfold.

Pairs particularly well with aged cheeses such as Mimolette and Parmesan, duck à l'orange, and coffee-based desserts such as tiramisu and opera cake. It also makes an interesting pairing with tarte Tatin and salted butter caramel ice cream.

Once opened: Keep refrigerated and consume within 2 to 3 weeks.
