Description

Cokun Rose Junmai Light is a low-alcohol sake made with a special yeast that naturally gives it its elegant pink color. The first nose is fruity, reminiscent of Sauvignon, evolving to notes of white flowers, cooked rice, cream, and dough. The attack is fresh, followed by a dynamic and invigorating mid-palate with a pleasant tangy tension, reminiscent of pomegranate juice. Fresh, fruity, original, and very refreshing, it is perfect for those seeking a light, sophisticated sake.

Color: Delicate, translucent pink.

Aroma: Fruity, with notes of red fruits, grapefruit, lychee, apple, pomegranate, white flowers, cinnamon, cooked rice, and bread dough.

Palate: Fresh entry, dynamic mid-palate with frui

Suggestions

Serve fresh, between 12ºC. Ideal with strawberry and pomegranate salads, raw vegetable appetizers, cheesecake with red fruit coulis, Japanese chawanmushi flan with shrimp, or pan-fried langoustines with chestnuts.
