Honshu-Ichi Honjozo Muroka is a light, fruity, and refreshing sake, perfect for those seeking a sophisticated Japanese aperitif. The first nose is highly aromatic, with fresh fruit and mint notes, complemented by subtle hints of fennel and star anise. As it aerates, the aniseed aromas become more prominent, with fruity touches and a creamy character. On the palate, it has a fresh, broad, and smooth entry with a slightly sweet attack, evolving into a creamy mid-palate with dried fruit notes. The finish is light and dry, with umami and delicate fennel notes. Made from Hattan Nishiki rice, it is a balanced, elegant, and refined sake.
