Description

Kagura Clear Junmai Muroka Genshu is a lower-alcohol sake, pasteurised only once in the bottle to preserve maximum freshness. The nose is fresh and fruity, with hints of fresh fennel and a touch of black pepper that adds complexity. As it aerates, delicate floral and exotic fruit notes emerge. On the palate, it is sweet with a subtle effervescence, giving a very fresh and juicy impression, accompanied by a gentle rice character. The mid-palate maintains the sweetness, while the finish remains delicate with hints of peach and melon. A true fruit basket in a glass. Made from Iwa rice, it is elegant, balanced, and highly enjoyable.

Aroma: Green melon, peach, green apple, strawberry, jasmine, mango, passion fruit, white peach, rice, and fresh fennel.

Palate: Sweet and fresh, with subtle effervescence, rice and tropical fruit notes, delicate mid-palate.

Finish: Delicate and harmonious, with hints of peach and melon, persistent and refreshing.

Suggestions

Serve fresh, between 10ºC. Ideal as an aperitif, or paired with tomato and peach salad with balsamic vinegar and basil, blue cheeses, or apricot and almond tart.
