Description

This Nigori Umeshu is a sake made with a fruit from the Wakayama region called "Nanko Ume" (a type of Japanese plum), which is macerated and added to umeshu liqueur with the aim of incorporating into the liquid a special texture added from the fruit itself.

Sake Nigori Umeshu has a wonderful aroma of Ume, a sweet yet tart character on the palate, full body and a refreshing acidic finish.

It is an excellent drink to serve chilled on its own, or in a cocktail.

HANDLING: Once opened the Heiwa Tsuru-ume Nigori Umeshu will last well for at least 6 - 8 weeks, ideally in a refrigerator.
