Description

Gran Patrón Burdeos Tequila is a luxury añejo tequila crafted in very limited quantities from 100% Blue Weber agave grown in the highlands of Los Altos, Jalisco, Mexico. After double distillation, it is aged for one year in used American oak and new French oak barrels, before being finished in selected Bordeaux wine casks. This process gives it a dark amber colour and a velvety texture, accompanied by exceptional aromatic complexity.

Presented in a hand-polished, numbered crystal decanter topped with the iconic PATRÓN bee stopper, Gran Patrón Burdeos comes in an elegant velvet-lined wooden box. A rare and sophisticated tequila, crafted to mark special occasions.

Nota de Prova

Colour: Dark amber.

Nose: Complex and inviting, notes of toasted wood, amber honey, roasted pumpkin and coriander, accompanied by hints of cooked agave, vanilla, blackcurrant and dried fruit.

Palate: Velvety and full-bodied, with notes of vanilla, raisins and dried fruit, alongside delicate Bordeaux wine character, balanced by the distinctive flavour of cooked agave.

Finish: Long, smooth and elegant, with lingering woody, fruity and sweet notes.

Suggestions

Best enjoyed neat in a tasting glass, allowing its aromatic complexity and velvety texture to unfold gradually. It is also a distinctive base for signature cocktails.
