The Kilchoman Batch Strength is a bold and powerful expression that elevates the distillery’s classic Islay character to impressive intensity. Matured in a combination of re-charred red wine casks, oloroso sherry butts, and bourbon barrels, only a few drops of water were added post-maturation to achieve its robust 57% ABV batch strength.

The result is a colossal dram that marries Kilchoman’s natural maritime peat smoke and bright citrus character with layers of dark fruits, rich spices, and indulgent salted caramel sweetness.

Nota de Prova

Color: Deep amber with copper highlights.

Nose: Red fruits, fresh cherries, heather blossom, and intense, enveloping peat smoke.

Palate: Rich toffee, warming spices, creamy vanilla, and long-lasting peat smoke, beautifully balancing sweetness and power.

Finish: Silky viscosity with notes of fresh crumpets, butter, and honey, lingering alongside elegant smoky depth.

Suggestions

Enjoy neat to experience its full strength, or add a few drops of water to unlock additional layers of fruit and spice. Best served between 18 and 20ºC.
