The Kilchoman Port Cask Matured is a striking limited edition that showcases the depth and versatility of this farm distillery’s Islay spirit. Fully matured in carefully selected ruby port hogsheads, this expression brings together casks of two contrasting ages — the youngest being 6 years old — resulting in a beautifully layered and characterful single malt.

Bottled at a robust 50% ABV, this release highlights the powerful interaction between sweet fortified wine influence and Kilchoman’s distinctive maritime peat smoke, delivering a whisky of richness, balance, and bold personality.

As founder Anthony Wills explains: “The time spent in port casks has added layers of red berries and smoked meats to the natural maritime peat smoke and citrus sweetness of the Kilchoman spirit.”
