The Mars Maltage Cosmo is a Japanese malt whisky crafted at Mars Komagatake Distillery, located at the foot of Mt. Komagatake in the Central Alps, in an area of untouched nature with pure water springing from 798 meters above sea level. This whisky expresses complexity and depth through the blending of multiple carefully selected malts using Mars Whisky’s expertise. Its rich, sweet aroma evokes honey and caramel, complemented by subtle smoky notes and ripe fruit scents. The palate is round and soft, leading to a gentle, lingering finish. The name “Cosmo” is inspired by Mt. Kosumo and evokes the vastness of the universe, reflected in the label design depicting the starry night sky viewed from the distillery.
