Assobio Branco honours the winemaking tradition of the Douro, one of the world's oldest demarcated wine regions, through a blend of indigenous grape varieties that expresses the fresher and more versatile side of the region. Made from Viosinho, Verdelho, Rabigato, Gouveio and Códega do Larinho, it reveals an intense and fresh aromatic profile, with notes of stone fruit and citrus, complemented by subtle tropical nuances.
The grapes come from vineyards with an average age of 15 to 20 years, planted on schist and granite soils. Harvesting is carried out by hand, followed by grape selection at the winery, pneumatic pressing and temperature-controlled alcoholic fermentation between 16 and 18°C. The wine is aged in stainless steel tanks on fine lees, preserving its freshness while developing greater body and complexity.
