Frei Gigante is a white wine from Pico with aromas of citrus and tropical fruits, and a hint of seaweed reminiscent of a maritime breeze in a volcanic environment.

Yellow-green color. Aroma of citrus and tropical fruits, with a hint of seaweed reminiscent of a maritime breeze in a volcanic setting. The palate is very engaging, with vibrant acidity and a saline finish.

Suggestions

Pairs perfectly with fresh fish and seafood, such as grilled squid, roast octopus, or sushi, as well as with light white meats like chicken or veal, and mild to medium cheeses, including fresh cheese, semi-cured, or brie. It also complements traditional Portuguese dishes, such as monkfish rice, fish stew, or seafood bread soup.
