Description

Kite Duck João Pato is a natural white wine from the bairrada region. Made with grapes from vineyards with 2 hectares and more than 30 years, planted in clay-limestone (Baga) and sand (Maria Gomes) soils.

The grapes are hand-harvested in early September, undergoes vineyard sorting and de-stemming. The Maria Gomes spends five days macerating and joined with Baga done in a ‘blanc de noir’ style.

Spontaneous fermentation lasts two weeks and takes place in stainless steel with ambient yeasts and without temperature control. Aged in French oak (650L) for six months. Not fined or filtered.

AROMA: Suaves aromas de frutos vermelhos.
