Description

Muros Antigos Alvarinho is obtained from the noble Alvarinho grape variety, grown exclusively in the sub-region of Monção and Melgaço. The localization of this sub-region provides it a particular microclimate surrounded by a range of mountains which allows an unique combination between precipitation, temperature and luminosity required for the perfect maturation of the grapes. The harvest of the grapes that will create this wine is the first to occur so that we can obtain its unique aromatic freshness.

Nota de Prova

Very pronounced citrus aromas (lemon and grapefruit). The palate entry is frank, direct, and very refreshing. On the palate, it reveals notes of lemon peel combined with a vibrant acidity full of flavor. It finishes long with good mouthfeel and volume.

Suggestions

Perfect to pair with light dishes such as grilled fish, seafood, fresh salads, and Asian cuisine. It also pairs well with fresh cheeses and seafood-based dishes. For the best experience, it should be served at a temperature between 11-13°C.
