Description

Niepoort Redoma White is an excellent example of the Douro’s potential to produce fresh, straightforward, and approachable white wines. At the same time, it preserves the characteristic complexity of old vines, reflecting the terroir and schist soils of the Douro. An elegant and balanced wine that expresses the essence of this historic region and the winemaking artistry of Niepoort.

Nota de Prova

The nose starts subtle and delicate, with hints of citrus and fresh herbs, soon evolving into notes of hazelnuts and pear. On the palate, it is structured and shows excellent acidity. The finish is long and slightly spicy. This classic Douro white is an excellent example of balance and aging potential.

Suggestions

Oysters, baked fish, poultry, and white meats. Vegetarian suggestions: dishes with root vegetables (turnip, sweet potato, beetroot), Caesar salad, cheese-based dishes. Best served between 10 ºC and 12 ºC to reveal all the wine’s freshness and complexity.
