Description

Paço dos Infantes Chardonnay is a white wine produced in the Alentejo region, in the Vidigueira sub-region, exclusively from the Chardonnay grape variety. It reveals an intense varietal character, highlighting the depth and expressiveness of the grape. The aromatic profile features citrus notes, green apple and hints of fresh tropical fruit, harmoniously integrated with subtle toasted notes from French oak ageing. On the palate, it is generous and well-balanced, with excellent acidity and a long, persistent finish. Fermentation in new oak barrels and six months of ageing on fine lees, with periodic bâtonnage, add texture and complexity to the wine.

Aroma: Citrus notes, green apple and fresh tropical fruit, complemented by subtle toasted oak notes.

Palate: Generous and well-balanced, with excellent acidity.
