After creating seven vintages as enologist in the Real Companhia Velha, Jorge Moreira felt the need to start an individual project where he could apply his ideas and where he could control the entire production process. Without compromises, a wine that would reflect his interpretation of the Douro.
In 2001 he started the Poeira project in Provesende, stretching along a hillside in the Vale do Pinhão, on the right bank of the river of the same name.
