Description

Ribafreixo Seleção Branco is a white wine that expresses the character of the Vidigueira region, where the Mediterranean microclimate, shaped by a strong Atlantic influence and continental conditions during spring and summer, contributes to its fresh and balanced profile. It reveals a combination of tropical fruit, citrus notes and an elegant mineral character.

Fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats, followed by ageing on fine lees (sur lie), using the bâtonnage technique to develop greater texture and complexity. Before release, the wine is further aged in bottle for three months, allowing its aromas and flavours to integrate harmoniously.

Nota de Prova

Colour: Citrine yellow.

Nose: Notes of tropical fruit and fresh citrus, complemented by an elegant mineral character.

Palate: Smooth and rounded, with pronounced freshness and a well-balanced profile.

Finish: Long and pleasant, with good persistence.

Suggestions

Pairs particularly well with grilled fish, seafood, sushi and Asian-inspired dishes. Its freshness and balance also make it an excellent choice for lighter meals.
